All of our specialty cut flowers are grown from seed on our farm in Dickson, Tennessee with our specialty soil mix and without the use of herbicides and pesticides. Seedlings are carefully maintained throughout their growth, and once matured, each flower is hand-picked to ensure that they are free of major imperfections. Since our flowers go straight from our farm to your home, you never have to worry about them being damaged in transit or losing their vibrancy while sitting in a hot warehouse. When you purchase a bouquet from us, not only are you supporting a local business and sustainable farming practices, but you are guaranteed to get much higher-quality blooms than what you'd find at a retail store.

Did you know that flowers sold in retail outlets are 10 or more days old on average by the time they're stocked on the shelves? Cut flowers already have short lifespans under even the most ideal circumstances, so when you consider the added stress of being transported and stored in less-than-optimal conditions, it's no wonder storebought flowers never seem to last! All of our blooms are cut to order within 24 - 72 hours of your requested pickup/delivery date and stored in a temperature-controlled environment to ensure that your arrangement is as fresh as possible. This is why we guarantee that our locally grown, fresh-cut flowers will last almost twice as long as the ones you'll find at the supermarket.

We do NOT import any flowers - if we didn't grow it, you won't find it here at Acres Abloom. We pride ourselves on our high-quality blooms, and we feel that one of the best forms of quality control is not to attach our name to anything we didn't grow ourselves. All of our flowers are started from seed on our farm and patiently nurtured until it's time to harvest. Since we don't bring in outside flowers, this means that our stock is limited to what we were able to plant during the previous season, so we can't always guarantee availability of a particular type - once we run out of a seasonal variety, it's gone until next year! If you're interested in something we're not currently growing, we're always happy to consider requests for additions to our inventory.
