I just wanted to talk about couple things that have come up the last couple weeks. Yes, I am a seasonal grower, which means that once a hard frost hits the flowers this fall, I will no longer have any specialty cut flowers for you. While the fall ( & full season )subscriptions have technically ended, some of you have said that you still want to continue getting weekly flowers until I have a hard frost, which I love and I am so happy to do for you. The extra little bit of cash coming in really does help pay for some of the things like the tulip bulbs and the ruckus cams and the anatomy and the seeds and so I really appreciate you extending the season💕❤️
Even though the 2024 season is coming to a halt when we get that killing frost, we will still be having workshops using out dried flowers, and also hopefully a workshop working with greens and such as long as I can find organic greens. Our shop will still have fresh local eggs, honey and goat milk soap too, as well as gift certificates and such for holiday giving.
Also had the question when will I be back? Well mother nature willing I’ll be back in mid-February unless the hellebore or anemone come sooner than that. I am hopeful that I will Have spring flowers for Valentine’s Day through Mother’s Day- And very soon I will be opening my spring subscription so people can purchase that now or they can also purchase it as a gift - Christmas, Valentines or Mother’s Day gift.
I had someone ask if I'm excited to have time off once it frosts. I will take some time off and try to so some fun things in the area, but I'm working hard on my plans for the 2025 season- planting layout and schedule, the you pick field, the pollinator bed, and all of the dates and where you will be able to find me- so please keep checking the calendar ! I am excited about the 2025 season more than time off and can't wait to see my loyal customers again.
the last thing is if I will be offering any plants for your gardens, and I am working on that but it is a longer process than I expected so stay tuned .
So while I am exhausted and sore from the 2024 season I am not ready for it to end, but looking forward to the 2025 Season.
